Brian, Mark Juan, Patty, Tim C., Shelly, Paul, Liesa the Athenian representative, were present to arrage the conditions of slavery. Paul as the spokesperson, proposed that a 30 year indoctrination period would be required. After which the Spartan slaves could get back their freedom. To control the population, the Athenians expected the Spartan to have only 2 children and work 6 10 hour days.
The Spartans were eager to become part of the Athenian empire. They were not willing to join this empire as slaves. Other items could be negotiated.
The Athenians accepted the offer of a peaceful resolution and full citizenship. They will be expected to pay taxes, serve in the military, without any opportunity for leadership positions.
Agreement was reached.
