Everyone in my generation (is) somehow, someway on the Internet," said Lorrie Ma, a 23-year-old junior in the undergraduate programs of mechanical engineering and marketing at Santa Clara University in Silicon Valley.

Late on the day that Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) announced he was forming a presidential exploratory committee, Farouk Olu Aregbe logged on to Facebook.com, the popular online community where college students post profiles, share photos and blog. On a whim he created a group called "One Million Strong for Barack."
"I remember thinking, there's got to be more supporters out there," said Farouk, 26, who advises student government at the University at Missouri at Columbia.
Delivered 1/2 day session on Organizing with Technology. Had terrific discussions with the 6 UniServ managers who were present. Used lots of examples of how we're engaging student population via social networking tools and other Web 2.0 applications.
Tomorrow I work with another group on Generational issues.
Gen Next discussion at National UniServ Managers conference...
