Karl Marx: philosophy is to the real world as masturbation is to sex
O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant
a philosophy professor reminded us about tomorrow's final exam by tellings us she:
"wouldn't tolerate any excuses from any of us for our not being in class for the exam tomorrow. I might consider a nuclear attack or a serious personal injury or illness, or a death in your immediate family, but that's it, no other excuses whatsoever!"
then, a voice from the back of the class asked:
"what would you say if tomorrow I said I was suffering from complete and utter sexual exhaustion?"
the classroom filled with laughter. the professor smiled knowingly at the student, shaking her head and replied:
"Well, I guess you'd have to write the exam with your other hand."
