one fifty ante-meridiem post Ambien in room 1116
so, i'm sitting in my hotel room watching showtime at 1AM, volume way down, staring at a half-eaten piece of chocolate mousse cake...
then, decide to surf the Net until my Ambien kicks in.
i didn't think to adjust the volume on my laptop...
...and, so, when i started following the pumkin carving prompts at this site (the part where you grab the knife and start carving)...
an angry guest in room 1115 pounded his fist--head?--against our common wall and shouted for me to "shut the f&ck up."
the man's violent response elicited an involuntary childhood response from me: "it wasn't me!!"
