BLINK

BLINK is the latest book by Malcolm Gladwell, the author of The Tipping Point. It provides tremendous insights into how the brain processes information – and more importantly, how the mind considers data, including what kind of data can have an impact on us (e.g. exploring the impact of non-verbal communications on relationships), what data can overwhelm us (exploring the impact of data that can inform decision-making and impeded decision-making), and what processes the mind has for cutting through the clutter. BLINK is an essential read for anyone wanting to use the Action Research Cycle to improve your organization’s ability to be agile and data-driven.

Our own beloved Michael Pons will come back from the grave to lead a spirited discussion of BLINK and its implications for Organizational Effectiveness in the Association world.
