You default to your signature strength when you are stressed. We are asking you to look at your professional development differently. Continue to enhance your strengths. Focus on your weaknesses only to minimize their effects in your success. You are not trying to turn weaknesses into strengths. How could you use this knowledge to work with your locals and leaders? What if involvement in the association allowed members to enhance their strengths? What if committees were made up of people who had strengths in that activity?
After you identify your 5 signature strengths, you may want to continue working with these stregths in a very practical way. the GO book gives 6 powerful steps to achieve outstanding performance.
